{ How to Consign }
- Consignments are accepted on Tuesday and Saturday ONLY. No appointments are necessary.
- A maximum of 20-25 items of seasonal clothing will be accepted per consignor, per visit. You may consign again in two weeks.
- Clothing must be in mint condition, smoke free and neatly pressed. There should be no stains, tears, pilling, missing buttons, pet hair or excessive wear. Garbage bags of wrinkled clothing will not be accepted.
- All equipment and toys must be clean, fully working, and have all components, including batteries. All items must meet current safety standards.
Recalled items will not be accepted.
- After your items have been inspected, we will notify you if there is anything we cannot use. You must pick those items up within 2 weeks or they will be donated.
- Your items are consigned for 90 days
- You receive 40% of the final sale price
- You may request a check at any time during your consignment period. Checks are printed on Saturdays and may be picked up on Mondays or any time thereafter. We will mail them for a small fee. Checks MUST BE REQUESTED. You may also use the money in your account for store credit.
- At the end of your 90-day contract, any items not sold will be available for you to pick up. Any items not picked up within 7 days of your expiration date will become the property of The Clothes Horse.
